About Aikido Ryde

Aikido Ryde is a dedicated Aikido dojo in West Ryde, on Sydney's lower north shore, training out of the World Ju-Jitsu Federation and Family Fitness and Self-Defence Academy. Focused on the Japanese martial art of Aikido, it offers a path to fitness, self-defence and personal development that emphasises technique, awareness and calm under pressure rather than brute force.

The atmosphere is a defining feature. Students describe a relaxed, welcoming and genuinely fun dojo where the teachers are patient yet push you to achieve more, often with a laugh, so the stress of the day melts away onto the training mats. Instructors are accredited with the Martial Arts Industry Association, and the supportive culture makes the dojo approachable for those new to martial arts as well as more experienced practitioners.

This is an adults-only club, teaching students aged 16 and over, with affordable casual rates that make it easy to give Aikido a try. Conveniently located on Victoria Road in West Ryde and serving the wider Ryde, Epping and Parramatta communities, it suits anyone seeking a friendly, grounded environment to build strength, focus and self-defence skills.
