About Camden Athletic Club

Camden Athletic Club is a coached athletics club based at Camden Oval in Novar Gardens, in Adelaide's inner west. With a heritage spanning decades, the club specialises in track and field, particularly sprinting and middle-distance running, offering structured training for athletes who want to compete and improve under expert guidance.

Training covers far more than running laps. Sessions build acceleration, sprint mechanics and interval fitness, supported by technical coaching on block starts and running form, strength and conditioning, mindset work and injury-prevention guidance. This rounded approach helps members develop as complete athletes rather than focusing on a single element of performance.

The club is led by highly experienced coaches with deep competitive and professional backgrounds, creating an environment where dedicated athletes can genuinely progress. Open to participants from age 14 through to Masters competitors, Camden Athletic Club suits anyone serious about running fast and training well, from emerging juniors to experienced adults returning to the track. For Novar Gardens locals and athletes across Adelaide, it offers a committed, results-focused base to chase personal bests and compete with confidence.
