Dancetra

Dancetra is a Chelmer-based dance studio offering structured, classically grounded training across ballet, jazz and contemporary styles. With a focus on technique and artistry, it provides a progressive pathway for dancers who want to develop genuine skill, strength and confidence through movement.

The studio is Royal Academy of Dance accredited, and students have the opportunity to sit regular RAD examinations, giving their progress clear structure and recognised benchmarks. Classes span classical ballet, jazz, contemporary and dedicated technique work, while Silver Swans adult sessions extend the program to grown-ups returning to or discovering ballet later in life. Eisteddfod competition classes cater to those keen to perform and challenge themselves on stage.

Serving families and dancers across Brisbane's western suburbs, Dancetra balances disciplined training with a love of performance, marked each year by an end-of-year concert production.
