About Kids Aquatic Survival School

Kids Aquatic Survival School, operating as InfantSwim, teaches babies and young children the vital water-safety and survival skills that could one day save their lives. Based at Port Hacking in the Sutherland Shire, the school takes children from around six months of age and focuses first on self-rescue, floating and confidence in the water before progressing to stroke development. The teaching philosophy is deliberately distinctive: lessons run intensively, parents stay out of the water, and flotation aids and goggles are set aside so children learn to genuinely look after themselves. Families consistently describe the experience as worth every cent, crediting the program with giving them peace of mind around pools and the beach while their children grow into capable, confident swimmers.

Instructors are warm, patient and child-centred, building trust so that even very young learners feel comfortable and make rapid progress. Programs span survival lessons, transitional lessons, stroke technique, refreshers and private one-on-one tuition, allowing each child to advance at the right pace. For Shire parents who spend much of their lives around water, the school offers an essential foundation in aquatic safety delivered with genuine care.
