About QIA Dancers- Irish Dancing Brisbane

QIA Dancers is a not-for-profit Irish dancing school in Annerley, Brisbane, where children and dancers learn the energetic footwork, discipline and artistry of traditional Irish dance. With a gentle, encouraging approach taught by professionals, it has built a reputation as a nurturing place where young dancers grow in skill and confidence over many years.

The school caters to a full range of abilities, from complete beginners through to competitive dancers, with class levels structured so everyone has a clear path to progress. Alongside technique, students take part in ceili (group) dancing, displays and performances, and competitive feis events, with merit awards recognising their achievements along the way.

What sets QIA Dancers apart is its community feel. As one long-time parent put it, their daughter has grown beautifully under the guidance of this wonderful school, made lifelong friends, and even represented Irish dance at official events, all while fitting it around school life. Irish dancing is also a genuinely active pursuit that builds fitness, coordination and posture, making this Annerley school a warm and rewarding choice for families.
