About Roubas Concord Karate Club

Roubas Concord Karate Club brings traditional Goju Ryu karate to the heart of Concord, training out of a local school hall where families have practised together for years. The club is the hombu (home dojo) for a respected Goju Ryu group, and that lineage shows in the depth of instruction and the calibre of the senior grades who help guide students through every belt level.

The atmosphere is warm, patient and genuinely community-minded. Beginners are welcomed without pressure, with instructors taking the time to break down challenging techniques rather than rushing anyone along. Long-standing members describe a strong sense of belonging and mutual support that keeps people coming back year after year.

With separate junior and senior classes plus a combined weekend session, the club caters to children finding their first taste of martial arts as well as adults wanting structure, fitness and self-discipline. The emphasis throughout is on building people, not just fighters, making Concord a great fit for anyone in Sydney's inner west looking for an authentic, supportive karate dojo.
