About Our Sacred Body
Our Sacred Body is a one-to-one movement and bodywork practice led by Ida Rahman, based in Singapore's East Coast and most often working outdoors at East Coast Park. It is a deliberate alternative to the conventional gym: rather than chasing a target on the scale, the work treats the body as a partner, weaving strength, mobility, natural movement and yoga-inspired practices into sessions shaped around how you actually feel on the day.
Ida describes herself as a movement teacher and bodywork practitioner who works with people who want to feel genuinely at home in their bodies. Her clients range widely in age and experience — beginners, mothers, seniors and athletes alike — and many arrive with little or no training background. The promise is not punishment but progress you can sustain: more strength and mobility, less everyday ache and tension, deeper breath, and a calmer relationship with movement that carries on long after a session ends.
Alongside personal training, she offers Restorative Bodywork — a slower, ground-based session blending somatic movement, breath, voice and yin yoga to help the nervous system settle. Sessions run outdoors at the park, at a private East Coast studio, or in your own space. For people in Bedok and the eastern suburbs seeking a thoughtful, individualised path back into their bodies, it is a distinctive and well-loved option.

Absolutely. Many clients arrive with little to no training background. You don't need to be strong, flexible or fit to start; sessions begin where you are.
