About School of Judo
School of Judo brings the discipline, athleticism and tradition of judo to the heart of the Downtown Core, welcoming everyone from curious first-timers to competitive judoka. The school is built around a tight-knit, supportive community where beginners are taught with patience and a strong emphasis on safety, control and proper technique from their very first session on the mat.
What sets the school apart is the depth of its coaching bench. Practitioners learn under senseis who have competed and managed at the international level, blending Singaporean, Japanese, Korean and French influences into a well-rounded approach to the sport. Classes are graded by level, so newcomers can build fundamentals at a comfortable pace while more experienced students refine throws, groundwork and competition tactics.
With a clear focus on technical mastery, character and camaraderie, School of Judo is a place where students develop confidence, fitness and resilience as much as martial skill. Whether you are exploring judo as a child, picking it up as an adult, or returning to the dojo, the school offers a structured, encouraging environment to grow.
