About Cheltenham Swimming Club

Nuna-Cheltenham Swimming Club is a squad-based swimming club serving Highett and the wider Bayside community, training out of the eight-lane fifty-metre pool at Waves Leisure Centre. It is built for every kind of swimmer, from those just stepping up after learn-to-swim, to people training for fitness and other sports, through to athletes chasing elite competitive goals.

The club structures its squads into clear development streams so swimmers can progress at the right level and pace. Newer and recreational swimmers build technique and fitness in the entry streams, while more advanced members push into competitive and high-performance training, supported by strength and conditioning work in the gym facilities. Members regularly praise the quality and dedication of the coaching team.

Whether your aim is to stay fit in the water, complement another sport, or commit to a serious competitive pathway, the club offers a structured, welcoming environment with experienced coaches. For Bayside families and adults who want more than open-lane swimming, Nuna-Cheltenham provides genuine squad coaching and a supportive team culture in the pool.
