Singapore Taekwon-do Academy @ GIIS Punggol is a neighbourhood class run by Singapore's oldest traditional Taekwon-do organisation, training out of the Global Indian International School campus in Punggol. Founded back in 1971, the academy carries over five decades of heritage and operates the largest network of training centres and classes across the island.
The focus is traditional Taekwon-do taught with structure and discipline. Programming spans dedicated adult classes, family and kids sessions, unarmed self-defence, and pathways through to instructor and black-belt courses, so a complete beginner and a committed grader can both find their level. Instructors are personally trained by senior masters, with only qualified senior black belts selected to lead classes.
